  Below you will find every thing you need to know about our rates, fees, and terms. 

 

There are three main charges: LABOR, TRANSPORTATION, PACKING SUPPLIES

 

Other fees may apply: Fuel & Miles, Certificates of Insurance, Overnite Storage, Special Equipment Rental, Recycling

 

Payments:  For residential customers, all payments are due in cash at the completion of the job.  For commercial customers, billing options are available and business checks may be acceptable.  Call the office for more details.

 

LABOR

All work performed is based on the hourly rate with a minimum of hours required based on your locations (see below). The clock starts when the movers arrive at the origin, and stops upon completion of unloading at the new location.

 

Remember: Lowest Rates are only available based on availability on first come, first serve option.  You can reserve your crew in advance and make changes up to 24 hours before the move.  No deposit is necessary and you can cancel the move 24 hour before the scheduled move.

Minimum Hours Required

 

Within Los Angeles metro area moves:

3 hours minimum charge.

 

Outside of Los Angeles metro area moves:

4 and up hours minimum charge.  Please call to get a quote.

 

TRANSPORTATION

 

Within Los Angeles metro area moves:

$60 to bring the truck with moving equipment to your location.

 

Outside of Los Angeles metro area moves:

$80 and up to bring the truck with moving equipment to your location.

PACKING SUPPLIES

 

The services of packing and unpacking are performed at the same hourly rate as the move. There is no additional charge for standard moving dollies, wardrobe boxes, and moving blankets.

 

Additional packing suppies such as boxes, stretch wrap, bubble wrap and tape are used to protect the furniture from dirt and scratches and can be purchased at a discounted rate.  Such supplies are optional, although strongly recommended.

Certificates of Insurance

 

Certificates of Insurance can be purchased for $50.00 per bulding if required by your Property Management company. Please call for details.

 

Overnite Storage

 

LA Movers, Inc. has your storage solutions when you find yourself in-between moves and are unsure where to store all your furnishings.

 

We offer overnight truck storage of your personal belongings in our secure parking lot. We can load your items on to our truck, hold them overnight and deliver them to your new home the following day. 

 

Our team of moving coordinators also has extensive knowledge of self-storage facilities in Southern California area.  We will be glad to assist you with finding the right facility that can accomodate your storage needs.

Special Equipment Rental

 

Any equipment rental charges incurred by us associated specifically with your move will be charged to you on your final invoice.

Recycling

 

Furniture, electronics, and waste can be properly and safely recycled per your request at an additional cost.
